Marko Pantelic Baritone Branding

The visual presentation of opera artists worldwide is often reduced to digital presentations that remain trapped in time. The websites were created to present the work of the artist, their performances and repertoires, but without any creativity or authenticity. A very small number of opera singers have their own websites, an even smaller number have their own visual identities. Because when we think of opera singers, we think of the age group 45+. There is probably a smaller number of younger and established performers born in the era when the website meant a lot and who can understand the importance of visual identity or personal branding.

Baritone Marko Pantelic belongs to the younger generation of artists.

Marko Pantelić is an operatic baritone. Some of his engagements include performances with the National Theatre in Belgrade, the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, the National Theatre in Sarajevo, the Theatre in Magdeburg, the State Theatre in Nuremberg and guest appearances with different companies at the Romanian National Opera in Timișoara and the Theatre in Winterthur. Some of his most significant roles are Dandini (La Cenerentola), Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), Ford (Falstaff), Marcello (La bohème) and Eugene Onegin.

This project required both items, personal identity and website design. With photographer Misha Obradovic and the creative direction of designer Jovan Lakic, the website was designed to reflect the era in which Marko lives and the digital breakthrough in the opera industry. The website is minimalistic. The identity as well. The exaggerated size of the typography stands out on the black background, the focus is exclusively on it, and it is the only design element that was needed to present the outstanding work of this young artist.
