This is a package design for Hem Coffee’s Lover Portable Pour-Over Vietnamese Coffee in Vancouver BC. The Drip Bag Coffee has new style with the pour-over brewing method which is more convenient. Brew a perfect cup of drip coffee in seconds without any coffee maker. Just like a cup of coffee in the morning, the name “Lover” was chosen to express the idea that a cup of coffee will give consumer energy for the day and always be supportive through your grim days. Moreover, Vietnamese coffee had gradually received its lucrative reputation around the world since the French and American brought coffee culture to Vietnam in the 80s and 90s, therefore we want the visual of the product to have Vietnamese 90s, retro, nostalgic and also fancy in a way luminate through out the package identity in order to attract long time Vietnamese coffee lovers far from home and also new generations in Canada that want to connect with the culture. Every visual elements are there to give drinkers a glimpse to old Saigon in every sip from the main key visual in this packaging is the image of Vietnamese woman in her traditional “ao-dai” in the 90s to retro advertising hand-painted style, typography choices and warm color.
