Puristic pharmacy skin care with the power of nature

Julia Lohmüller is a passionate pharmacist with her own pharmacy in Essen. Her aim was to create a purely natural face care for her customers. After many hours of trying, she was able to create a very moisturising cream without any chemical additives. This new natural cosmetic line was strategically developed and created by baries design in 2019 and is aimed at the pharmacy segment. The decision to name the line after her is apparent: It transports the authenticity and naturalness of the products very staight to the customer. For more and more people – Julia Lohmüller found out – getting natural cosmetics very popular nowadays. That is, why she decides to create natural cosmetics under her personal name. As pharmacist, she knows a lot about the power of nature and and their modes of action.
All of her products go without any additives. Bearing this in mind, Julia Lohmüller tasked us with the design work for her skin care products, which also forms the basis for further product lines.

Developing an intense moisturizer for the day
The idea of pharmacy and natural cosmetics should be conceptually integrated into both – packaging and logo design. The product should appear puristic as well as authentic and suggest the pure power of nature without any additives. Through this, we created a very clean, structured and light-weight design for the label and the box. The logo dominates as headline, but gives enough space for the information the customer is interested in. The tripartite division in the bottom part also helps to transport the clean informations.

Logo Development
The new brand logo impresses with its modern and uncomplicated typography. It is the focus of the design and covers almost 2/3 of the design space. Effectiveness and authenticity is conveyed by the logo, which also reflects the performance of Julia Lohmüller‘’s know-how.
