The Sensitive Type products are made in Australia, responsibly sourced, vegan, cruelty free, pregnancy safe, inclusive and contain only gentle and effective ingredients. All designed for sensitive skin types.

Sustainability is at the centre of the brand ethos. all products are contained in glass and aluminium, as these materials are infinitely recyclable. Product boxes and packaging are made of compostable and recyclable cardboard and printed using natural soy-based inks.

Reducing the quantity of plastic waste created by the beauty industry, The Sensitive Type only glass for bottles. Bottles are made of recycled clear glass, as clear glass is infinitely recyclable and are printed using soy-based inks.

The Dream Clean and Calm Cream bottle tops are made from aluminium as it can also be infinitely recycled without loss of quality. A small portion of bottle mechanism (pump) is made using HDPE (high density polyethylene) which is also recyclable.

In addition to being a member of One Percent for the Planet, The Sensitive Type is the first beauty company to donate a portion of each sale to a charity chosen by customers, believing that every business should have a positive impact on the community it operates in. When placing an order, customers can choose for a portion of profits to go to charities focussed on supporting Australia’s First Peoples, the reforestation of Australia’s bushland or unhoused Australians.
