Master distiller Benito Salcedo’s Raicilla brand gets a new upscaled and premium image while keeping its artisanal essence. For this new image we kept the original black and white palette from the previous one and complemented it with new illustrations presenting two stags (in spanish Ciervo) at the sides of the most important element of the brand which are the mountain agaves. The concept of this composition is to honor and respect the plants which take at least 7 years from planting to harvest, in order to be able to produce this very small batch spirit which has Designation of origin and can only be made in few municipalities from the state of Jalisco and Nayarit in Mexico.
Each one of the bottle presentations shows at the center of the labels two of some of the agave types used to produce Raicilla, which in this case are Agave Maximiliana (wider leaves) and Agave Angustifolia (slimmer and longer leaves) and give the raicilla different flavor and aroma profiles. A vibrant red color was also integrated into the brand to emphasise the new logo on the labels and boxes and help it be easily recognizable on shelves and bars, as well as small details on gold to add a subtle shimmer. Label finishes included textured paper, screen printing and hot foil to give the brand the premium look they were looking for. Reserva Delciervo pays homage to an iconic spirit from the mountains of Jalisco and brings the raicilla to a wider range of consumers.
