Ficosota commissioned us to design and produce the Power Couple box for their innovative skincare brand Orpheus. The Power Couple is a limited edition, holiday gift set which holds two separate, existing products by Orpheus. The cosmetics duo consists of their award-winning Resurrection products: the All-In-One Serum and the Bio-luminous Dewy Essence.

We fulfiled this project in its entirety in our design studio and printing facilities.

The Orpheus brand presents the world’s first 100% clean skincare dedicated to the Orpheus Resurrection flower. The rare flower is the only plant in the world that can regenerate after being in the herbarium for years. Legend says when the mythical god Orpheus lost his beloved wife, he shed tears upon the mineral rich earth of the Rhodope Mountains… From his fallen tears, an immortal flower was born.

The legend of Orpheus comes to life through the box’s augmented reality experience. By scanning the box with the Artivive app, you can get familiar with the Resurrection flower’s story and see the inspiration behind our gift set.

The final frames of the AR video represent an animated version of the box’s front design.

Sustainably sourced and produced biotechnology actives are at the heart of Orpheus skincare.

Therefore we used 100% recycled, premium paper from 100% post-consumer waste to create this packaging. We enhanced the high-white stock using four-colour Offset printing (CMYK) and the two brand spot colours (Pantone). Finally, we finished with holographic hot foil to achieve the balance between green science and high-end packaging.
