Hondo Studio is proud to unveil the rebranding of Castil, an Italian leader in metal furniture design. This project reflects Hondo’s commitment to crafting identities that resonate deeply with the essence of their clients’ vision while fostering collaboration with industry experts.

Castil, known for blending Italian craftsmanship with contemporary design in metal seating and outdoor furniture, sought a visual identity that mirrors the strength and precision of its steel-bending process. Hondo approached this challenge by developing a clean and versatile design system that celebrates Castil’s vibrant and customisable products while emphasising its dedication to form and functionality.

In collaboration with Best Typefaces foundry, the project enjoys a bespoke monospaced typeface (Castil Mono) and logo design. These elements serve as the foundation of Castil’s new identity, offering a dynamic platform for designers and creators to explore the brand’s innovative offerings. The typography highlights Castil’s adaptability, while the logo encapsulates the precision inherent in its craftsmanship.
