High Bar is a hard seltzer brand designed for a generation that expresses identity through choices rather than words. When Sunday Design was invited to refresh the brand, the goal was to move beyond traditional flavour-led naming and create a system that captures the emotions and social energy behind the drink.
Instead of presenting the beverages as simple fruit flavours, the brand introduces three distinct personalities: Flirty, Bold, and Chill, represented by pink, red, and blue respectively. The beverage ingredients still remain the same as before with minor adjustments to suit the new direction. Each flavour now reflects a different mood and social moment. Flirty embodies playful intrigue and spontaneous conversations. Bold captures the warmth of connection, late-night stories, and shared laughter. Chill represents the calm of slowing down, unwinding, and enjoying the present.
The refresh also elevated the product’s physical presence. A taller, more refined can enhances shelf visibility while giving the brand a sleek, contemporary silhouette. The minimal design language removes visual noise, allowing the colours and personalities to stand out clearly in retail and social environments.
By shifting the focus from flavour to feeling, the brand becomes a conversation starter. Choosing a drink becomes a subtle form of self-expression, much like selecting an outfit, a playlist, or a favorite app.
The result is a modern hard seltzer brand that stands apart in a crowded category. High Bar transforms a simple beverage choice into a social signal, capturing the spirit of a generation that communicates through mood, experience, and connection.
