Graphic Design for Central

Central is a stylish establishment in the city center of the coffee & brunch format. A place with quality coffee, tasty and clear food, and a light, laid-back atmosphere.

To increase brand awareness and create a solid image of existing elements, the company decided to rebrand.

Rebranding
Our goal was to make the corporate identity more modern and concise, but at the same time to preserve and integrate the important and already loved by guests elements of branding — the slogan and recognizable sign.

Logo
The font logo consists of the name of the Central coffee shop and the coffee & branch descriptor.
To make the logo readable, we chose center alignment, and placed the descriptor above the name, creating symmetry pleasant to the eyes.
The selected font, the absence of overloading signs and the classic layout, allowed us to create a concise image of a coffee house, in which all team members pay special attention to the quality of the product and know what they do.

Corporate identity

Corporate identity is built on a combination of two fonts, different in style, proportions, and design features. Despite these differences, typographic compositions on branding media look easy and not overloaded.
Since the slogan of the coffee house plays an important role in positioning the brand, we decided to emphasize it and suggested using it as an independent graphic element.
In addition, we created an additional identity element — a monogram, so that the corporate identity can easily adapt to different media. The previous sign — the image of a man with a dog — was made linear, simple and stylized.

As part of the project, we developed a design for such elements as business cards, menus, advertising posters, bakery packaging, paper cups and sugar sticks, placemats, price tags, wrapping paper, shopper, door work schedules, packages, stickers. As a result, the new identity turned out to be easy, without unnecessary details and with emphasis on the main things — the atmosphere and principles of the Central coffee shop.
