Resident Evil Requiem Influencer Kit
Capcom have perfected the art of sustained excellence with their blockbuster AAA franchises. Monster Hunter™, Street Fighter™, Onimusha™, Resident Evil™ and beyond – each iteration continues to raise the bar.
With Resident Evil’s 30th anniversary approaching on 22 March 2026 and 167 million games sold in the series, it has defined horror and created a legacy far beyond gaming. Fluid’s relationship with Resident Evil and Capcom extends back over decades – partnering to help create some of the series’ most memorable creative moments – such as the chainsaw-wielding key art of Resident Evil 4.
Our love and understanding of the Resident Evil franchise means each project is the chance to showcase our knowledge of the series’ lore through insane levels of detail, utilising franchise references and easter eggs to delight recipients and fans alike.
Creative Direction
It’s still a thrill and honour to be trusted to work on the acclaimed Resident Evil brand – with our latest work seeing the production of 164 Resident Evil™ Requiem Influencer Kits, distributed globally, in advance of the game’s release date of 27 February 2026.
The bold, tactile and interactive kits reflect Fluid’s obsessive attention to detail; with every aspect of the design and production reflecting the quality the brand is synonymous with; delivering key marketing information and kit-exclusive collectable/usable keepsakes to recipients.
The kit plays on the campaign’s muted colour palette of black, white and blood red – broken up with flashes of strong contrasting colours such as Police tape yellow and RPD-referencing blue. Materials have been chosen to reflect the bleak and distressed feel of the in-game universe, whilst editioning and personalisation furthers the exclusivity of the kit for each of the 164 recipients.
Details
Our Umbrella-inspired aluminium containment cases arrived sealed with official Police caution tape, referencing Grace’s flashback in the initial game trailer. The outer packaging features personalised address labels in the campaign’s “Special Elite” font, using distressed campaign graphics to create intrigue from the outset.
Within, our high-end and sombre aesthetic continues. Removing the Police caution tape reveals the campaign strapline on the case outer, and upon opening, the case’s inner lid reveals an affixed custom printed aluminium panel featuring the Resident Evil Requiem logo and striking newspaper art graphic. In the base, a custom black foam fitment holds an authentic USA crime Evidence Bag with handwritten annotations, as if used by Grace in her FBI investigations. The bag contains a personalised introductory letter and the game’s key art – printed on rough textured artpaper with torn edge, complete with QR code which directs to a short film.
With the Evidence Bag removed, the next layer of content is revealed: a recreation of the Shadow Ghost book seen in the game’s trailer. Featuring details including tactile embossed gold pearlescent paper, with hints of the gold revealed through the print, the book corners have been recreated in an antique foil, which shimmer like metal as they catch the light – furthering the premium aesthetic. The book’s inner is a direct recreation of that seen in the game – with four double page spreads printed on a tactile embossed 270gsm artpaper to convey the original aesthetic.
With the Shadow Ghost book removed from the base foam fitment, the next layer of content is revealed: a framed Cherub Key and Grace’s Flashlight. A recreation of the key seen in-game, our die cast zinc alloy key is white dye coated, before being hand distressed, making each unique. Each flashlight has been hand distressed to hide any original branding, making each unique through the process – USB rechargeable it’s a re-usable keepsake.
With the framed Cherub Key and Grace’s Flashlight removed, the next layer of content is revealed: a mysterious brown kraft box, designed to look aged, as if found in the ruins of Raccoon City. Removed from the box, the physical recreation of Grace’s Lighter is fully revealed – a brass lighter, customised with 3D laser engraving to both sides, before hand aged with patina and a matt lacquer finish. The lighter’s finish will also age with usage – with each lighter unique – a truly collectable keepsake of the in-game universe.
With Grace’s Lighter removed from the base foam fitment, the next layer of content is revealed: a set of keys which can be used to lock the containment case itself.
As a further layer of intrigue, the case’s base foam fitment is slightly inset from the case surround and features a hand-sized cutout at each side, which reveals an applied printed label on the inner right of the case inviting further exploration. The label features an arrow pointing downwards and wording beginning ‘Po’ – hinting at further content for recipients to discover underneath the base foam fitment.
Recipients need to lift the original base fitment out of the case, revealing an underlying base black foam fitment with further content: an oversized tactile embossed black card envelope featuring transparent foiled game and Porsche logos, which shimmers opulently in the light.
Using the envelope’s integrated ripstrip to open, a Porsche Displate is revealed. This premium styled metal print features Leon S. Kennedy and the custom-licensed Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT he drives in-game. The front features a 3D-effect varnish print whilst the back features Displate’s unique Hologram tag and signed production detail + QR code. Also within the black card envelope is an instruction sheet and Displate’s unique magnetic mounting system.
With the Porsche Displate envelope removed from the foam fitment, the final layer of the kit is revealed: the dual protagonist keyart of Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy alongside the Resident Evil Requiem logo.
There’s a final reveal for recipients to discover, utilising their FBI analyst skills like Grace – with a hint offered by the flashlight Grace is holding in the key art. Utilising the UV function of Grace’s Flashlight they’ll discover a previously hidden secret message on this final layer of content in the Containment Case.
Additional quantities of Shadow Ghost books and framed Cherub keys were also produced for the client to use as giveaways/competition prizes.
