The Diva collection created for Castel Mimi represents a deliberate rethinking of how premium sparkling wine communicates value within a gifting context. While traditional wine branding typically places emphasis on label design and bottle presence, Diva reverses this hierarchy by positioning the gift box as the central narrative element. The product was conceived for occasions where presentation precedes tasting — moments in which the emotional impact of receiving the object defines the entire experience.
Inspired by legendary female figures such as Coco Chanel, Audrey Hepburn, and Jacqueline Kennedy, the visual concept explores femininity not as ornament, but as character. These women redefined elegance through confidence, restraint, and individuality qualities translated into a contemporary graphic language rather than historical imitation. Stylized illustrations introduce personality and storytelling while remaining refined enough to function across diverse cultural markets.
Each box operates as both packaging and collectible object. Carefully balanced typography, fashion-influenced silhouettes, and distinct color palettes create a family of designs unified by attitude rather than repetition. The intention was to ensure immediate shelf recognition while allowing every variation of Diva to express a unique emotional tone.
To support this hierarchy, the bottle itself adopts a minimalist aesthetic. Clean labeling and restrained detailing prevent visual competition with the packaging, allowing both elements to function in harmony.
