The Diamond Museum in Amsterdam is a unique museum dedicated to the history and art of diamond processing. Here you can learn how Amsterdam became one of the leading centers of diamond trade in the world, what types and shapes of cuts exist, how the quality and price of precious stones are evaluated. In the museum, you can see not only rare and famous diamonds, but also watch the work of masters who turn raw diamonds into sparkling jewelry.
The Diamond Museum is located in an elegant villa near the Museum Square. In the Brilliant Beauties hall, you can admire the most famous and expensive diamonds in the world, such as Kohinoor, Rembrandt, Katana and others. In the Carat hall, you can learn how the weight of diamonds is measured and how this affects their value. In the Colors of the World hall, you can see diamonds of different shades, from white to black, and find out what determines their color.
