The Challenge: Breaking the Legacy Bottleneck
Legacy software cannot keep up with the speed of modern fintech. A unified digital ecosystem can. To set a new market standard for currency exchange, Kurio required a complete UI/UX transformation that turned chaotic, fragmented operations into a seamless financial gateway.
Before this overhaul, the network was severely bottlenecked by a technological dead end. Cashiers were overwhelmed by manual paper receipts, messy Telegram chats for client bookings, and the constant need to manually update TV exchange rates. The lack of system integration forced employees into an endless loop of double data entry just to maintain state regulatory compliance. This mechanical labor consumed up to a third of their active working hours, artificially restricting customer throughput to just 10–15 people per hour and causing severe queues during peak times.
The Solution: A Monolithic SaaS Ecosystem & Brand Identity
We dismantled the disconnected legacy software and architected a cohesive SaaS ecosystem that connects cashiers, operations, and management in real time. We designed a smart booking CRM that replaced chaotic chats with a clean, centralized dashboard. Cashiers now see only their specific, verified bookings, instantly removing cognitive overload and the risk of lost data. Furthermore, we implemented an automated live-rate system for the branch TV panels and introduced instant e-receipts that sync directly with state ledgers.
Beyond the UI/UX product design, we developed a strong visual identity anchored by the new Kurio logo. Featuring four minimalist circles arranged in an ascending perspective, the design works strategically on two levels: it serves as a modern, abstract nod to physical coins, while the upward trajectory visualizes rapid financial growth, network scalability, and technological momentum. This cohesive visual language was applied seamlessly across every physical and digital touchpoint, from modern staff business cards to the software interfaces.
The Impact: The 30-Second Standard
We didn’t just design software; we established a new benchmark for the market. By building this unified product design system, we achieved a 100% elimination of the mechanical double data entry that was bottlenecking the business. Cashier mechanical workload dropped from 33% to under 10% of their shift.
As a result of this digital transformation, Kurio successfully increased branch capacity by 150%, seamlessly scaling up to 40 clients per hour. Most importantly, we achieved a record-breaking 30-second customer service time—proving that exceptional design directly drives business efficiency and scalability.
