Cyclosa, a Rebranding for a Textile Recycling Brand With 40 Years of Experience

Discover a brand whose source of inspiration is nature.

Cyclosa arises from the redefinition of the company Reciclatges Ontinyent, with more than 40 years of experience in the textile recycling sector, with the aim of achieving a more recognizable and versatile brand that helps it position itself in a movement to which it has always belonged: the circular economy.

The strategic concept revolves around biomimicry. That is, stop seeing nature as a resource from which to extract and understand it as a source of knowledge from which to learn.

Recovery, recycling and regeneration, so important for human life and future survival, is a behavior that occurs naturally among certain animal species.

For the name, we were inspired by spiders of the Cyclosa genus that decorate their web with a mixture of detritus, plant parts, remains of prey… turning everything around them into their raw materials. An example of circular textile recycling, as well as a powerful, simple name that is clearly aligned with the brand.

The vibrant blue color allows us to maintain the accessibility of the color while providing great visual personality. In addition, it allows us to maintain a connection with the previous Reciclatges Ontinyent brand that facilitates the transition.

The visual style, based on highly readable sans serif typography and simple compositions, provides simplicity and versatility at the same time. And above all, it offers a result that can last over time without major changes.
