Concept Brand and Packaging Design for Global Whiskey

A mixture of both American and Scottish tradition of whiskey making and distilled in Japan, Unification (direct translation) wanted to express the concept of dualism, where opposite or contrary traditions might complement and interconnect with each other. The idea of using the in-yō symbolism with the Japanese Koi fish helped create the label concept for this premium whiskey. Gold foil for one fish and a silver foil for the other – where one tradition meets another.
