Founded in 2020 by UGA scientists, Oak House Distillery is dedicated to the art of crafting exceptional spirits, Notably, it holds the distinction of being Athens’ first legal distillery since the 1860s. The distillery is renowned for its award-winning botanical gins and Jamaican-style rums, and has plans to introduce organic vodka in the near future. Housed in the historic Henry Bishop home, constructed in 1864, Oak House Distillery offers a distinctive experience for the visitors in Georgia. Their lounge and bar exude a welcoming ambiance, complemented by two acres of outdoor space shaded by ancient oak trees, which makes it the perfect setting to unwind after a busy day or enjoy a leisurely weekend.

Oak House Distillery came to CF Napa to create the design for their Robert’s line of gins. The distillery has not only mastered the art of crafting classic gin styles, but also aspires to create innovative gins infused with traditional Asian botanicals. To align their modern approach to gin production, they sought packaging that would reflect their contemporary vision.

The first gin to launch was the No. 1 American Dry Gin – a new age gin with a floral-forward flavor profile. Drawing on the client’s affinity for abstract illustrations and Asian design, CF Napa Brand Design created a custom illustration for each gin. The artwork for the No. 1 American Dry Gin includes stylized representations of the lavender, lemongrass, and makrut lime notes that give the gin its exceptional flavor. Embossed and gold foil details bring a tactile element to the label and contribute to the futuristic sensibility of this contemporary gin.
