After many years in the luxury cruise and travel business, proprietors Bob Binder and Walter Jost founded Silver Trident Winery to make extraordinary wines that would be welcome everywhere—from a festive dinner table at home to the world of luxury hospitality.

As a boutique family winery, they are committed to staying small and focused, crafting just 3,500 cases each year, pouring all of their passion and expertise into every bottle. Their focus is on single-varietal wines — Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc alongside a signature Napa Valley Red Blend.
Their talented winemaker, Kari Auringer, is the creative force behind every vintage. With years of experience crafting some of Napa Valley’s most sought-after wines, Kari has been with them since day one, guiding their vision with expertise and passion. In 2009, they launched their very first vintage, the Twenty Seven Fathoms Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine that marked the beginning of their journey.

The Silver Trident Tasting Home is not a typical tasting room. It is intimate and inviting with private rooms featuring furnishings and decorative elements from the Ralph Lauren Home Collection.

We reimagined the winery’s logo, elevating the icon while making it more recognizable as a trident and a maritime flag, a nod to the owners’ careers in premium cruise travel and hospitality. The new icon and wordmark along with a minimalist color palette and elegant typography echo the timeless luxury of the well-appointed Silver Trident Tasting Home.
