Öömrang returned to CF Napa to create their sparkling wine packaging. The design for the sparkling wines needed to play off the existing design but have a more elevated, celebratory feel.

Öömrang, Inc. is a vineyard and distillery located on a 100-acre estate in Stanwood, Washington, modeled after the traditional Gutshöfe of Germany. The property benefits from a unique microclimate created by the nearby Olympic Mountains and the Cascade foothills, making it ideal for growing German wine varietals. Öömrang cultivates 5 hectares of vineyards with four white wine varieties and three orchards with 300 fruit trees, while supplementing their harvest with fruit from local producers. The winery and distillery, inspired by the founders’ German-Franconian heritage, focus on producing high-quality wines and eau-de-vie from premium fruit. With 170 years of family background in viticulture experience and distillation of fruit brandies, Öömrang does not only draw on its cofounders’ personal experience in the vineyards, but also on the strong relationships it maintains with Franconian viticulturists and distillers.

CF Napa Brand Design continued the modern, clean look, they created for the core line, utilizing the unique and recognizable icon as the centerpiece of the label. The Ö with the umlaut icon is accentuated by a diagonal die cut. Large swathes of gold foil are alternated across the diagonal to help differentiate between the wine styles while lending a specialty, premium cue to these exceptional wines.
To top off each of the bottles, the wines and spirits utilize a glass closure adorned with a gold coin that has been debossed with the Ö icon.
