Cielo’s mission is to bring ceramics beyond known limits, through shapes, sizes, thicknesses, surfaces, evoking the emotional impact of color. Born from the tradition and experience of master ceramists, Cielo is using ceramic to create innovative and original bathroom furnishing collections that are at the same time contemporary, timeless and linked to Italian tradition.

In my design for the Cielo toilet Era and Enjoy I show an italian bathroom: warm and with colorful elements. Every illustration shows a real Cielo bathroom accessori, which comes in different elegant colors. For those who will buy the accessories there are vendor codes placed beside the illustrations. The visible grid refers to tiles, it creates bathroom walls where the typography can be placed and different accessories seem to hang on a bathroom wall.

The design will be placed both in showrooms and in regular stores, hence the design needed to be not too complicated, so a customer who doesn’t visit modern ceramic exhibitions could still recognize the idea of Cielo and buy this toilet. Maybe, it will be the first step for the customer to create an Italian bathroom in his house.

The project lasted more than 3 months, different ideas were developed and shown to the client. But the final solution seems to fit the customers and the clients needs the most. First we printed a test sample, to see how the thin lines will look in real life. Everything went fine, so the boxes are now produced by a print shop and will soon be presented in furniture, plumbing and sanitary ware shops.
