Superfoods are foods, mostly plant-based, that are thought to be nutritionally dense and thus good for one’s health. It contains a variety of nutrients, such as antioxidants, which are thought to ward off cancer. They also have healthy fats, thought to prevent heart disease; fiber thought to prevent diabetes and digestive problems; and phytochemicals – the chemicals in plants responsible for deep colors and smells, which can have numerous health benefits.
Regularly eating fruits and vegetables also has strong associations with a lower risk of many lifestyle-related health conditions. The nutrients they contain help promote a healthy complexion, nails, and hair and increase energy levels, and they can also help maintain a healthy weight.
In addition to the packaging design, we were also responsible for the product 3D visualization for Amazgreens™, a USA-based superfoods brand.
The packaging design brings a natural mood to the product, with vibrant colors that stand out from competitors on the shelves. We decided on a solution that was not only eye-catching but also presented the product in an elegant and minimalist way, and so it seemed like a great idea to use macro photography to illustrate the raw material on the packaging design. The beautiful laminated bags preserve the product characteristics and the zipper makes it easy and safe to use multiple times.
The packaging was created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and was modeled and rendered in 3D using Foundry Modo.
