Introducing Studio Minerva’s latest design for Bushmills 46-year-old—the oldest single malt ever released from the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery. The creative concept is a celebration of the River Bush and its journey over the beds of the iconic black basalt. This rock is synonymous with the world-famous Giant’s Causeway, which has played its part in every drop of Bushmills Irish Whiskey since 1608.

The glass decanter is housed in a bespoke handcrafted hexagonal presentation box, produced by UK-based Moran’s Wood. The topographical contours of the walnut case are a tribute to the River Bush, Bushmills village, and the surrounding landscape. The design not only reflects the geographical history of the region but also the journey of time itself, honoring the rich tradition of distilling. It pays homage to the River Bush, which has flowed through our story for over 415 years. A gold engraving along the center of the box reflects the river’s journey to the Old Bushmills Distillery, tracing the course it has taken through millennia, long before Bushmills began distilling in 1608. Every detail feels intentional, steeped in storytelling, and rooted in the land that has given birth to this exceptional whiskey.

This 46-year-old single malt is a true reflection of the deep connection between nature, heritage, and craftsmanship. From the ancient rock beds of the River Bush to the meticulously designed decanter, every element speaks of a commitment to the finest quality. The legacy of Bushmills Irish Whiskey is not just in the aging process, but in every element of its creation, from the rich, historic landscape to the art of whiskey-making passed down through generations.
