We were invited to develop the visual identity for theGlance, as a virtual art gallery located in New York City. theGlance is a platform to connect you with the artist.
Art is seen with the eyes and felt with the heart. The company provides the private service with the best selections to create artists’ careers.
“In the world of art, seeing is believing. We are creating the most culturally diverse contemporary art space for young artists, who embrace love, bravery and future and for you, to explore a different art world.
We believe that life is art, and we want to connect you with artists to explore the real aspect of art under the extravaganza of contemporary art, unveil your artsy aesthetic persona with pieces you fall in love with one glance.”
The typography has classic lines with artistic and modern details, mixing the old with the current with sans serif and serif typography, bringing originality and differentiation to the identity as a whole.
With a chromatic palette with strong contrasts and vivid colours, we can highlight the works of art in question. Containing the most neutral main colours, such as White, Black and Cream – for the secondary colours, Blue, Yellow and Red.
Through this combination of colour, type, design, and language, Ted Oliver has created a refreshing brand identity that, while simple, has depth, character, and authenticity. It is clean and calm, but also strong and confident, making it feel more accessible than much of its industry.
