La Esquina is a restaurant in Jordan that specialises in Mexican cuisine and aims to provide a warm and welcoming environment where guests can enjoy quality food and delicious drinks, creating unforgettable moments with their loved ones.

Brief: The context of the project revolves around La Esquina’s vision of being a vibrant and convivial space that offers a delightful culinary experience, infused with spontaneity and joy.

The challenge: The main challenge in this project was to capture and convey the essence of La Esquina’s spontaneous and fun atmosphere through its visual identity.

Solutions: To meet the challenge, we designed an expansive visual identity that incorporates various elements that vividly represent the restaurant’s core values. Inspired by handmade signs and street murals, we chose a base colour palette of beige, yellow and green. These colours evoke a sense of authenticity and reflect the restaurant’s passion for traditional craftsmanship. In addition, we introduced spicy reds and blacks to be used in graphic elements such as photos and illustrations, adding a touch of excitement and modernity to the overall design.

Colours: The colour palette chosen for La Esquina’s visual identity is perfectly in line with the brand’s identity. The use of beige, yellow and green captures the essence of authenticity and craftsmanship, while the incorporation of bold red and black adds a contemporary flair that enhances the overall vibrancy of the restaurant’s image.
