The Heighton Agency is a new brand born of 20+ years’ experience. Chris Heighton, our Creative Director, has honed his approach to design, project process and business knowledge over a lengthy career, including 10+ years’ as a lead co-founder of a previous agency. In that time, Chris led and grew teams, managed a valued network and enabled successful project delivery. Chris brings all of this skill and experience to shape the success of this new start-up: beginning with this self-promotional social brand project.
The Heighton Agency brand leverages this experience of honing and refining processes to deliver exciting, design-led creative and digital projects for clients and partnerships in many industry sectors and on behalf of MSB’s, SMEs, local, regional and start-up businesses.
The new brand sets out to reinforce connections with an established audience, network, contacts and clients.
So the brief was to create a brand that felt personable, confident and reliable. This new brand is informed by our Creative Director’s wealth of expertise developed both as a self-employed designer and an extensive, well-connected network of professionals built over a lengthy career.
The Heighton Agency identity colours are designed to be synonymous with our Director’s design journey and reflective of the many partnerships established and maintained throughout. The colours resonate with relevance and meaning: selected for their ability to communicate care and creativity, and to inspire confidence and ambition.
Symbolically, the perfectly formed shapes each are designed to depict our project Process (Hexagon), Our Winning Formula (Triangle) and multiple clients’ success (Cross), formulated over 20 years in the industry.
They work together to form a recognisable, individual and perfectly balanced brand meaning, which is further brought to life in our WIN Video and brand logo animation.
Rolled out across multiple social channels and via accompanying emails in a co-ordinated campaign that spanned several months, our strategy was to tell a story. We set out to build the brand by giving existing clients and contacts an exclusive ‘early bird’ peek into brand assets that culminated with access to a specially designed brochure download.
As campaign engagement gained pace, the brand definition was unveiled slowly with the WIN Formula video our final reveal of a finely balanced brand, driving engaged connections to our first phase website experience.
We will achieve a further 10 years of success and growth by building on the Heighton Agency brand mark as a constant reminder to clients that our loyalty to our process, values and formula is how we help them to shape their own business success.
