Brand Design of Museum of Weathering

The Weathering Museum is a unique place where visitors can learn about the process that leads to the formation of various forms of a terrestrial relief surface. This process involves the action of atmospheric factors such as wind, water, temperature changes and other natural phenomena.
In the weathering museum, you can see various rock samples that have been weathered over the years. Visitors can explore the different types of weathering, its impact on the environment and the processes that occur as a result of this phenomenon. The presented exposition will tell about incredibly beautiful places on the territory of Russia, for example, the Golden Gate of Kara-Dag, Lena Pillars in Yakutia, Tuzlukh Rock Chaos in Malorechenskoye, Manpupuner in the Komi Republic and others.
The museum also offers educational programs and interactive exhibitions that help visitors better understand the significance of weathering and its impact on the environment. This is a great place for educational excursions, where children and adults can learn more about geological processes and their impact on our planet. In addition, they can buy merch in the museum store, for example, bags with photos of amazing beauties of Russia.
The Weathering Museum provides a unique opportunity to explore one of the most important processes shaping the earth’s topography and inspires visitors to gain a deeper understanding and value of our nature.
The visual metaphor of the project is based on font compositions that repeat real-life places or techniques of rock destruction under the influence of natural factors.
The color palette consists of the main color – gray, representing rocks and stone, and additional colors – yellow, blue and red (the colors of the sky). The font pair used in the project is Neutral Face and Inter.
