DOK:107 is a creative space located on the territory of the abandoned woodworking factory of Savva Morozov’s manufactory in Orekhovo-Zuyevo. The style is based on the idea of ​​rethinking the activities of the plant and woodworking.

The main idea for the style is woodworking – the activity of an abandoned factory. This is represented in the form of logs cut into planks. A single form assembled from boards hanging freely in space is the main graphic element of the style. Due to the constant intersection of boards in the shape, the logo is also made of symbols that stand closely next to each other. In addition, the unevenness and roughness of the edges of the logs transfers from graphics to physical media and determines the shape of badges, business cards, key fobs and navigation signs within the space itself. Historically, all 19th century factories in the Russian Empire had their own labels, some of which were updated into icons to represent event activities. These icons work in conjunction with headings and reference the history of the space.

The color palette consists of three colors: light gray, dark gray and brown. These colors reference industrial markets as well as the color of the wood around which the brand identity is based. The photo style is also toned with a beige filter to enhance the identity.

When moving on to merch, it was also important to maintain identity, which was made possible by the rough edges of the shapes, which were transferred to the shape of keychains and glasses. In addition, merch was developed that resembles work clothes, but for everyday convenient use.
