“Bonilat” company is based in Yerevan city, Armenia. They presents quality natural dairy products: milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, buttermilk, butter, cream, yogurt, squeezed yogurt, yogurt, kefir, yogurt, cocoa-cheese. They wanted to have a new product – cheese stick and strings named Suluguni Cheese. Those are cheese strings with different width but consistent length. This kind of cheese is popular in Armenia.

I have been hired for their new product package design, which is Suluguni cheese strings. At the first step i made 3-4 concepts that were totally different one from another. My clients chose the one with girl illustration holding barrel, which is the main key of the concept, since this oval part is transparent and you can see the product inside i.e. different kind of cheese strings inside each package.
I drew the the sketch of a girl illustration by hand at first, then made digital artwork of it inside photoshop using my graphic tablet. After these i transferred my psd file into Illustrator and continued the rest of package design there.

Old logo of “Bonilat” was too busy with lots of unnecessary details, uneven outlined stroke width etc. Clients wanted a logo that will be evolutionary connected with the old one, since buyers already connected with the oval shape of the logo and leaves.
I designed many logos, but this one is the winner that somehow reminds us the old logo but improved, more clean and minimalistic, without unnecessary slogan and lines.
