Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru Tuscan Juniper is the latest addition to the iconic brand’s Premier Cru line – a collection of small-batch gins that celebrate the supreme quality and provenance of Bombay Sapphire’s ingredients. Sustainably sourced from small-scale growers by Master of Botanicals Alessandro Garneri, each gin showcases a specific botanical, paying homage to the finest harvest expression.

This release spotlights Tuscan Juniper, flourishing in the biodiverse microclimate between the Tuscan hills, sea, and Apennine mountains. Hand-harvested by the Pastorini family, ripe dark-blue juniper berries are carefully collected using traditional methods to ensure sustainability. Through Bombay Sapphire’s famed vapor infusion distillation, this limited-edition gin captures the essence of naturally dried juniper berries, with a sweet pine-fresh intensity complemented by subtle anise notes from Tuscan fennel seeds.

Knockout was entrusted with crafting a design for Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru Tuscan Juniper, encapsulating the gin’s rich story and exceptional flavour profile. The challenge was to enhance the brand’s iconic attributes while amplifying the limited edition’s distinctiveness.

The final design boasts a bespoke bottle structure radiating prestige and intrigue to embody the offering’s essence. The bottle is sealed with a cork stopper crowned by an engraved rose-gold cap for added luxury.

The label, on fine cotton-touch paper, showcases the Premier Cru mark, merging contemporary typography with a classic script, juxtaposing authority and opulence. Deep blue and green hues reflect the gin’s multi-layered flavour, while rose gold foil highlights its Tuscan heritage. An original juniper shrub pattern is etched onto side panels and the label, capturing the sun-dried bluish berries harvested by hand between September and November each year.

The signatures of Alessandro Garneri, Master of Botanicals, and Dr. Anne Brock, Master Distiller, act as a seal of the gin’s craftsmanship and unwavering quality, affirming its excellence and uniqueness.
