Bold Chic Brand Design for Local South African Accessories

Mocholoco – Toffeetable

Toffeetable is an accessories brand based in South Africa; all their creations are african inspired and made in different countries across the continent. They appointment us to work on their corporate identity and design their logo, stationery and packaging.
The challenge was to create an identity that could incorporate the boldness of the African way together with the young and modern spirit of the brand. We also thought it was important to illustrate an African woman in the designs, representing Siya (creator of Toffeetable) together with her charisma, bold personality and beauty. This, combined with colourful geometric patterns inspired by the art by the Ndebele tribe, finished the contemporary and inviting feel of the brand.
