Balance Me’s award-winning aromatherapy inspired British-made skincare is designed to naturally bring skin back into balance, enhance skin’s natural beauty and inspire wellbeing.

It was founded in 2005 by British sisters Rebecca and Clare Hopkins, the brand is available to purchase nationwide in the UK via the Balance Me website, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Wholefoods, Ocado, LookFantastic, FeelUnique and many more. With a growing customer base, Balance Me made the decision to rebrand their packaging to represent their company ethos more visibly. They came to us and asked us to help produce the secondary packaging for their products, which we were more than delighted to do.

We had a task to design a circular card tube to pack their travel kits and scented candles into. Balance Me had also an eco packaging strategy, so we needed to come up with something that should be produced using recyclable materials. After extensive research to find just the right factory, we provided plain samples from our UK-based supplier so that Balance Me could test the quality and style of the tube.

The finalized artwork posed a challenge as it featured two circles that would be split in the middle by the two halves of the tube. To ensure the artwork was displayed seamlessly, we suggested a butt jointed cylindrical card tube with an inner spigot making the lid and bottom align when closed.

The card tubes were wrapped in uncoated paper for a natural finish and the total quantity was split between four different artworks representing various product lines. In total, Balance Me ordered 6,600 units.
