Atolla Brand Identity

Atolla offers custom skincare solutions in a simple, convenient and sustainable way. They focus on one single product, their personalized serum, formulated using each customer’s online assessment as well as regular skin testing—all through the online skin lab.
In partnership with their creative team, we started by giving a full refresh to the identity, refining the logo and creating a brand new logomark. We refined the color palette, relying yes on the high contrast of navy and pink to integrate more nature inspired colors and neutrals to pair with the new box material, which is a recyclable kraft with white ink printing.
The original logo was a simple serif wordmark, and we knew that we a few simple changes, we could refine the letterforms to make them look more intentional and elevated. We tightened tracking, opened up the shapes and reduced height of the ascenders. We joined the two ‘l’s’ to create a simple, more compact glyph. Finally, we added a touch of contrast to the characters’ strokes.
Then, we rebuilt the packaging system to create a box that would be flexible in the future in order to accomodate two new products to the collection. Bottle labels were designed to be custom: the person’s name would be printed as each serum is tailor-made. Finally, we redesigned the brand materials included in the box. Their internal team of talented creatives applied this new system to their website and social media, for a fully consistent, refined brand across all platforms.
