LA Developers is a software development agency located in Los Angeles, California. Relatively new, this agency since its inception has been specialising in technology strategy, technology solutions, and technology execution. Being a very young and bold agency themselves, their main target are companies or startups that are young, bold and innovative.

Keeping that in mind, La Developer’s new identity was inspired by coding language. As it speaks to the industry and their target audience, aiming to deliver their brand message as well as feeling relevant, adaptable and innovative. It reflects the beauty and craft that lies within a generally overlooked and hidden world of software development. We transformed their old branding, which was dated and didn’t reflect the brands values, and created a visual identity that stood out from the competition, and brought relevance and class to their somewhat undermined craft.

From their logo, a transformative sequence of interchangeable characters, to their various touchpoints. Lead by a bespoke typeface created to continuously change in all the applications.

The deep contrast of the accent primary colors with the more often black background delivered on the universe of empty space with characters creating deep accents. The animations expanded the universe and brought the brand to life across multiple digital touchpoints,

To complement on the full brand experience, We combined the minimalistic visual Identity with a quirky tone of voice that picked up on the coder’s slang. Creating a cohesive brand that brought forward the message that the brand was so much aspiring to achieve.
