“OneTaqwa produces the world’s finest Ramadan calendar. Designed to be a special gift for the annual event of Ramadan, every box houses 30 smaller boxes, each with a message of inspiration and delicious date to break the end of daily fasting.When designing something of such beauty it is important to find reference that gives gravitas and meaningful authenticity to a design. The graphic design was influenced by a rich source of inspiration. Working from old mosaic tiles, Arabian colour palettes and Islamic patterns proved to be a creative treasure trove of intricate pattern, vibrant colour and interesting textures.The OneTaqwa icon represents decorative rays of light emanating from the silhouette of a traditional lantern creating something both eye catching in its beauty and contemporary in appearance.The packaging had a multitude of finishes applied in production that enriched the look of the calendar and achieved a luxury feel, the end result being a beautiful journey through interactive layers of design, each one delighting and richer in detail than the next.”
