ABARoma – Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma – is a historical institution, a research centre and mediation pole that has always nurtured young talent in the arts and culture, building real experiences. An Academy of Fine Arts that aims to become a point of reference, a cultural pole and a catalyst for talent.
The core concept from which we started is the line: the first gesture of generation. The line unites and relates, divides and organises, focuses, defines horizons, marks time. The line is simplicity. This is the premise for redesigning the UX/UI of the new website, defining ABARoma’s digital identity through the new visual system that represents the essence of the institution. The chosen colours draw inspiration from history and aesthetic tradition, revealing a deep connection with the world of art, in contrast with the more pop trends of the digital world. A contemporary typeface was chosen for the typography, which in its capital form manages to convey the freshness and drive of youth.
The new ABARoma website aims to generate a constant relationship between culture and everyday life. A digital place where you can find all the tools you need to experience the Academy, find out about its educational activities, and access up-to-date news.
The project was born following the Dynamic brand methodology, which is directed towards the future of a new communication, thanks to the use of contemporary visual languages. It accompanies the new website, developed on modularity and capable of giving dynamism and clarity of content.
