Our first collection focuses on of one those ubiquitous home accessories – the candle. The ubiquity of the candle naturally means there are tens of thousands of brands, from homemade to designer adding to the saturated market – so why a candle?Some candles will burn up to 100 hours and can sit on your coffee table several years between uses until disposal. Whilst candles primary purpose is light , and in some cases scent it will spends most of its time as a decorative object. Aside from its function a candles general market and aesthetic appears somewhat single minded focusing primarily on women with 9/10 brands featuring a large square label.Our challenge was to create a set of candles that complied with our or creative strategy CNFORM™. We wanted to create a unisex product, with a contemporary style – almost designed not to be used but as a provocative minimalist decorative object. The choice of container was essential to this goal, also providing a unique and engaging experience when used. There are four soy wax scent variants, three natural scents and one unscented. They come in three different sizes. All the candles are hand poured and hand finished.
